About the Artist: 

Jano is a Belgian French illustrator. After being member of the collective illustrators' "Ton PiquanT" in Brussels, where she lived for almost 10 years, Jano moved to Lyon in June 2023, and joined the Bourrage Papier collective for new adventures. In her practice, the illustrator seeks to convey in a different sense than that of sight using vibrating colors.

Is it possible to smell, texture, listen to an illustration or feel the warmth? We find themes of wandering and walking, meditation but also surprise in the immensity of indomitable nature. Jeanne Saboureault is interested in the color, the emotions she conveys but also the way to create plant ink. Since the end of 2023, she has been researching pigment creation, and trying to create her own colors, in a 100% natural way.
