LUZ's little shot glass with the serene smile is known as La Carita. Made from the gorgeous Oaxacan clay known as barro rojo, by the Mateo Sisters in San Marcos Tlapazola, Oaxaca. 

It has a smooth, matte finish and beautiful rich, red color. These shot glasses hold about 1 ounce.

These items can have unique markings that occur randomly in the firing process. These markings are not considered defects. As these items are unglazed, they will absorb liquid, so drink your mezcal before the cup does and allow to dry thoroughly.
